WaaL.architecture is an inter-disciplinary firm of Urbanists and Architects based in Dallas and Fort Worth offering services in Architecture + Urban Design + Site Planning.
With over 80 years of combined experience in design and construction, the principals excel in knowledge and navigation of municipal entitlements and discretionary approvals. The firm has undertaken work throughout the United States, Canada, the Caribbean, and Dubai.
WaaL.architecture’s current focus includes churches, transitional homeless housing, learning centers, schools and pre-schools, big box retail, medical buildings/clinic practices and multi-family infill throughout the DFW area. We are presently engaged with 4 local non-profits on a variety of projects, including the conversion of a 200-unit hotel into transitional homeless housing for Catholic Charities. Projects range in size from $4m to $35m in construction costs.

The Partners
Allan Ross
Principal and Director of Design
BLA, MLA, M.Arch., assoc. AIA
Allan holds graduate degrees in Architecture & Urban Design from Harvard University and an undergraduate degree in Landscape Architecture. He was a member of the team that pioneered and tested low energy building technology that evolved into the present LEED sustainability-focused standards.
Allan previously taught at Harvard University and the University of Guelph. He is a former Professor of Architecture at Ryerson University in Toronto. During his distinguished 45 year career, Allan has won over two dozen design awards.
Wayne Lambdin
Principal and Director of Technical Services
B.S.Arch., AIA
Wayne is a graduate in Architecture from the University of Texas at Arlington. Prior to establishing his private practice in 2003, Wayne served on the staffs of several Dallas area’s largest architectural firms.
Wayne’s career has spanned over 35 years. The breadth of his expertise in technical matters, production, and construction administration is widely acknowledged throughout the industry. Wayne co-ordinates all internal production with a dedicated and accomplished staff of production assistants.
